In the present, Reshmi tries to build youth support, while Sidhwani warns Julie to lose the election if she replaces Sanjay. Julie refuses to promise, angering him. Reshmi challenges Julie’s place in Sanjay’s life and takes him home. At the CBI office, Julie cleverly deflects Soumik’s interrogation by hinting at his ties to Kalyan Basu. She sabotages Reshmi’s campaign with planted drugs, impressing the Home Ministry, which backs Julie as Sanjay’s political successor.
