Overview
Wakako travels alone to Kanazawa, a place she has been interested in since the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen. At Omicho Market, she eats raw sea urchin and gasu shrimp, which she has never heard of before. Craving sake, Wakako goes to a store that offers a selection of Ishikawa's finest sakes and offers tastings. While listening to a story about a brand of sake she likes, she is told that she can tour the brewery, so she decides to visit. Returning to the city of Kanazawa, Wakako enjoys the brewery's famous oden, jibuni, salt-grilled nodoguro, and sake. A delicious and slightly luxurious trip to Kanazawa.
